The Castrol Cup (Men’s gross) was won by Patrice Guiader with 27 points. The Ladies’ gross cup – the Financial Times Spring Cup – was won by his wife, Karine who also scored 27 points.=>
The ALT’s team played their last pool match on Friday, 12th May against AT Neuilly and won 3-0. After 3 victories and 1 defeat, they go through in either 1st or 2nd position to the « Tableau Final ».
This Autumn we will revisit Roncemay. Please read the attached and send the application form (and the deposit!) to James by the 15th of June at the latest.

We are very sad to announce that Pat Cully passed away on Tuesday, 9th May at 6.40 pm after a short illness.
Pat, along with her husband Ian, has been a long-standing member of and contributor to the Club. She has been responsible for the website and for the newsletters for many years and she will be missed.
Our deepest condolences go out to Ian, their children, Simon and Jane, and grandchildren.
Following the funeral ceremony at the Crematorium in Clamart, a wake was held at the Club in the lovely setting she so enjoyed.
The Annual Golf Meeting of The Royal Society of St George, the Caledonian Society, the Royal British Legion, The Welsh Society and the Association of British Accountants in France (ABAF) will take place on Thursday, 13th July at the Golf de St Germain en Laye.
The classes have been very busy over the holiday weekends...a nice and healthy way to keep out the cold!
Saturday 6th May, the traditional friendly snooker match against the Automobile Club de France's snooker team resulted in another victory for the Standard Athletic Club's team with a tight final score of five wins to four (5/4).
Six singles matches and three doubles matches were played in a very friendly atmosphere.
The return match at the SAC is planned for the end of September.
A sun-day it wasn't, but the brave tennis players who took on the elements for Sunday's Tennis Day were amply rewarded.
Come and kick off SAC's summer tennis ladder with challenge matches that the Tennis Committee will coordinate next Sunday, 14th May.
The Season's opening cricket match will be the Toby Cox Cup between the SAC and the British Embassy on Sunday, 14th May from 1pm to 7pm.
This is also a special Cricket Open Day for Alumni of the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and OECD and IEA staff members.

Don't forget to sign up for the Workshop this Friday (12 May); the morning session will begin at 11am with some simple exercises and prepared hands, followed by lunch and a friendly game in the afternoon. The 2017 Snooker Tournament reached its final day this year on the 29th April with all finals having successfully been played by late Saturday evening. Winners were: James Moore, Veterans; Hugo Marrison, Juniors; Andrew Taylor and Roland Tchertoff; Men's Doubles; Roland Tchertoff, Men's Singles.
Calling all would-be teen programmers! The Coding Club is offering 6 programming classes to children aged 11 to 16 on Saturday afternoons.
In the end there were 28 bridgers, who had great fun on the bridge tables, plus 10 who came for dinner. Thanks to their generous donations € 3.530 were raised, which is very nice addition to BCF funds.
