We are very sad to announce that William (Bill) Doyle passed away last Friday, 14th April.

He was in his 87th year and had been unwell for some years. He is survived by his wife Nicole, their 3 children, and grandchildren.

He and Nicole were long standing members of the Club, having joined in 1963. Bill was particularly active in tennis, golf (founder member), and bridge. He was also Chairman of the House Committee. One of his great claims to fame was as the first "foreign" (Bill being Irish) Honorary Treasurer. At the time only British/Commonwealth members could be officers on the Management Committee. A special motion was submitted at the AGM and he was voted in after a unanimous a vote in his favour.

Members of the club wishing to say their last goodbyes are invited to the funeral service that will take place at 1:45 pm on Tuesday, 25th April at the Meudon Bellevue church.
