With Iskander missing, the team had to be reshuffled and Edouard started up front. An inspired decision by Didier the coach, as Edouard put us 1-0 in front within minutes of the kick off. A second quickly followed through Alex and we were rarely out of their half winning the loose balls and dominating possession for the first ten minutes or so. The team were really starting to play nice football, looking to pass rather than run heads down and were using the wings which has not always been the case every week. This resulted in the team taking a 4-0 lead with goals from Balthazar and Oscar, the centre half and full backs respectively. Ines our keeper had very little to do in the first half but did have to pick the ball out of the back of the net after a vey nice finish from their striker who was put clean through and chipped nicely into our goal to get one back for the visitors. Our heads did not drop and immediately we were down the other end again and got two more goals through Edouard to see us lead 6-1 at half time and saw Edouard score a first half hat-trick!! With such a large cushion, the younger players were given a lot more playing time than in previous weeks and both Miles and Elliot showed what they are capable of with some good play and dribbles and caused their defense lots of trouble. The second half was not so much of a white wash with the team losing their shape a little with players keen to get their names on the score sheet. A second from Balthazar finally saw us win 7-1. The team is really growing in stature and with so much of the team still only 8 years old (only 7yrs in Miles case), the future really does look encouraging. This was a well deserved win and perhaps most pleasing of all for the coach was the way the team played with some nice link up and use of the wings. Next home match is on Saturday, 12th December at 11am so come on down and lend them some support. (There are always goals - unlike Ligue 1).

Team: Ines, Timeo, Hugo, Balthazar, Oscar, Edouard, Matthia, Alex, Miles, Elliot, Milo

Goal scorers: Edouard 3, Balthazar 2, Alex 1, Oscar 1
