SAC vs Le Croq Sportif - 10th September

On Sunday, SAC hosted annual tourists from the UK, Le Croq Sportif. SAC won the toss and batted first making 217 for 6 off our 35 overs thanks to a fantastic 123 off just 92 balls from Thodi Andersson. In reply, the tourists were blown away by a spell of 3 for 3 from Nisseem Burkule, and never recovered – all out for 140. Shakeel Ahmad and Andrew Macintyre took two wickets apiece.

SAC welcomes Nantes CC this weekend for an inaugural visit

This weekend Nantes CC will be visiting us with two teams, adult and junior, for a double confrontation on Saturday 16th (juniors at 11.00 a.m. and adults at 1.00 p.m.). Players will meet for a BBQ at the end of the day to celebrate what might be the first time two clubs in France compete at two different levels. Check out your history books!
Then on Sunday morning, the juniors will be competing again, but this time in Thoiry.

Step and Sculpt and Core

40 minutes of step aerobics with 40 minutes of resistance training…This group class is designed to kick-start your metabolism and keep the calories burning long after your workouts.

Classical Pilates Mat

These classes take place in a group setting using your body weight as the primary source of resistance.  Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the centre or core of your body.  Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilise and support your spine and pelvis, resulting in a strong flexible spine with ideal posture and alignment.

Classes emphasise the fundamental principals of Pilates while offering modifications and variations to suit each student's individual needs.

We currently have openings in the following classes:
  • Mondays  Step, Sculpt and Core at 10.00 a.m.
  • Wednesdays Pilates Mat level 1 at 2 PM and Pilates Mat levels 2 & 3 at 3.15 p.m.
  • The Saturday classes are currently full
Registration is now open for a possible morning or lunch time Pilates class. Please contact Pam if interested.
