Squash News - 4th April

Team 2 with 4 players played Quartier Latin away, but, despite some good fights list 4/1. Next week they play at home so are looking forward to a better result. 

Snooker Tournament News - 29th March

In the Open SinglesRoland Tchertoff beat Thomas Lavigne on Saturday 23rd and moves forward to the semis. 

Football News - 24th March

On Sunday 24th, the adult football team lost 7-0 against Los Pipos
The game next Sunday 31st is against our old friends the Kerala Tuskers.

Bridge News - 22nd March

Last night we held the first of the Bridge for Beginners series of lessons (the next one is exceptionally on Tuesday 26th). Note the Workshop on Friday 29th March with the subject of Forcing 3rd suit (3me couleur forcing). Please sign up with Claude Jacques if you haven't already done so.

Golf News - Section Competition - 23rd March

Scramble "à la française" results: the team of Sue Hall, Bertrand Delacroix and Claude Jacques came out ahead in a very close contest, the first 3 teams within one point of each other.

Squash News - 21st March - Critérium Île de France

A great 4/1 victory for Team 1 at home against Quartier Latin with only 4 players! This was the last match of the regular season and Team 1 finished 3rd of their league, their best result for a long time! Very well done! Team 2's game was cancelled and should take place on the 19th of April. 

Football News - 17th March

On Sunday 17th, the adult football team lost 2-5 against VSCI (SAC goals by Vassili de Rosen and Henry Colburn).
The game on Sunday 24th is against Los Pipos.

Snooker Tournament News - 20th March

In the Open SinglesThomas Lavigne and Roland Tchertoff will be playing their 1/4 final round next Saturday afternoon, while James Webb and Emmanuel Bertrand and Antony Parker are set to play their match soon. In the Open Doubles, last Sunday Andrew Taylor and Roland Tchertoff won their quarter-final against Thomas and Simon Lavigne.

In the Open Singles, Hugo Marrison won his match against David Colson in a three frame battle and qualified for the semis, while James Webb and Emmanuel Bertrand and Antony Parker are set to play their matches soon. In the Open Doubles, Thomas and Simon Lavigne are due to play Andrew Taylor and Roland Tchertoff this Sunday.  

Squash News - 15th March - Critérium Île de France

Team 2 broke their losing streak last night with a fine 4/1 victory over neighbours Chaville. The newcomer to the team, Emil Wolter, won his first match 3/2. Well done, Emil!

Football News - Sunday 10th March

Last Sunday the Adult Football team played against the British School and won 3-2 (2 goals by Paul Bowyer and 1 by Ignacio Aguirre). Next Sunday they play Vésinet Sport Club International.

Football News - Sunday 17th February

Last Sunday the Adult Football team lost 3-6 playing against Ludovic Cohen's team. SAC goal scorers were Paul Bowyer, Declan Thiriet and Vassili de Rosen. We next play the British School on the 10th of March.

Bridge News - 12th March Tournament results

Warmest congratulations to Mary and Remy, 1st in NS with 60.31% and to Jenny and Joyce, who came 1st in EW with 55.81%. Congratulations also to the close 2nds in NS - Didier and Guy (58.75%) and Nicole and Jean-Paul in EW (55.31%). See the main article for full results.

Snooker Tournament News - 27th February 2019

In the Open Singles, Thomas Lavigne beat Lucien Jourdan in a three frame battle, he will meet Anthony Parker in the next round. In the Open DoublesThomas and Simon Lavigne won against Lucien Jourdan and Jean-Paul Ruzé in two straight frames, they are set to play Andrew Taylor and Roland Tchertoff in the next round.

Squash News - 21st February 2019 - Critérium Île de France

Team 1 continue their winning streak with a great win at home against La Garenne 4/1 and stay 3rd in the league. Another difficult night for Team 2 who lost 4/1 away at Cercle de l'Union Interalliée.

Squash News - 14th February 2019 - Critérium Île de France

Another good victory for Team 1 playing away against our neighbours from Chaville; they won 3/2 and remain 3rd in the league. But Team 2 playing at home against St Cloud with only 4 players had another tough night - they lost 5/0.
