15th March 2019 News

Stop Press

Last night our Squash Team 2 had a fine 4/1 win over neighbouring Chaville. (Team 1 didn't play.)

What been happening

After the break, the Club burst back into life with 6 Nations Rugby on Saturday afternoon (and Sunday) and in the evening Stephen Clarke regaled us on the subject of “1000 years of annoying the French: who laughs last?" at dinner on Saturday evening.

On Sunday, our footballers went into action against the British School and adult footballers played against the British School and won 3-2.

Fitness and Yoga sessions started back with a full schedule and Tuesday was very busy: the Ladies played their AFT's tennis match against Montrouge - luckily on covered courts, but unfortunately lost 2-1 and later, that evening, Bridgers had their March Dinner/Tournament

What's coming this weekend and after

This weekend starts with the 6 Nations Rugby Final round all on Saturday. Also on Saturday, the Junior Footballers swing into action at 3.30 against the British School - anyone who can drag themselves away from the Rugby is welcome to come and watch!

On Sunday our adult Footballers play Vésinet Sport Club International.

Sunday is also St Patrick's Day, which we will be celebrating with a Saint Patrick's Caelí on Saturday 23rd March - don't forget to reserve by Wednesday 20th.

On Thursday 21st next week at 7 pm the first of the Bridge for Beginners series of lessons (given by Anne Raynaud) will take place. Email Jenny Pratt for information.
