What's been happening
Cricket: Saturday morning saw the Lads vs Dads match followed by the Cricket and Barbie afternoon with the Paris Cocks Aussie Rules Football Club! On Sunday the match was a 40-over against Chantilly CC.
Squash: The Queen’s Cup Open Tournament took place over Saturday and Sunday. Nicolas Coquelet Domart from Stade Français beat Lee Beaves in the final to take the cup. Club members Nicolas Rosset, Charles Kingston and Sean Lafleur finished 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.
The other big time of the weekend was the EGM on Sunday afternoon. All the news related to that was sent to you in a Flash on Wednesday afternoon and won't be repeated here.
On Saturday the Golf Section will be holding its President's Cup an individual (Net) Stableford Competition, but also featuring a Putting Competition and the Nou Yai Cup for the best Ladies' gross score.
The last Yoga class before the summer break will be on Saturday 6th at 2 o'clock.
Step and Pilates should continue until the 15th of July, but please confirm with Pam.
Today, Friday is the last day for signing up for the July Summer Tennis Camps next week (8-12th) and the week after (15-19th). The Tennis School is accepting registrations for the next year (2019/2020).
English Language Summer Camps: plenty of information pointed to in the article below. The camp dates are 8th – 12th, 15th – 19th, 22nd – 26th July and 26th – 30th August; hurry as places are filling up fast!
Food this weekend: Saturday: Croissants & Pains au chocolat. Lunch: Sandwiches, Ham and cheese, tomato and mozzarella paninis; Steak sandwiches. Sunday Brunch: Salad trolley, 'brochettes de volaille', ratatouille, rice, fries, bacon, scrambled eggs, British sausages, cheese platter, fruit, cheesecake, tea.

As the Club gets busier and busier it is increasingly important that the Club's facilities be shared by all members for their mutual enjoyment. Members are kindly asked to follow a few basic “housekeeping” rules and general etiquette. Please read them here.
The Search is still on for a volunteer Newsletter Editor!
The Club Management is looking for a News Editor whose responsibility is to compile the weekly newsletter from the input provided by Management, Staff, the Section heads and members. The News Editor should be fluent in English, preferably a native speaker. The time commitment needed is a few hours a week. The management would hope for a long-term commitment to the post from the volunteer. Please contact Matthew Curtin () if you're interested.
