Ken Hodges is sad to announce the death of his wife Miriam, aged 79. She was struck down by a debilitating illness but died peacefully in her sleep. Miriam was a long-standing SAC member, enjoying the fresh air of the forest and always feeding the birds. She was a keen tennis player and swimmer. A long time ago she adopted the SAC stray cat. Her other activities included writing a book on Slovenian women authors, which remained unpublished because of political events in Slovenia. She loved the theatre, the subject of her doctorate. Her tennis partners will miss her.
