MC News
The MC met in person on Tuesday 31st May. This was the opportunity to review and refine the plan for the 5th June Jubilee Event, held jointly with the British Community Committee of France. Key elements confirmed include:

- Shuttle bus to and from Club
- Kids' activities (sports, speed chess, ...)

This is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion requiring considerable organisation. Event guests will be using the full range of Club facilities. Access to the Club will therefore be via ticket only on Sunday. We look forward to seeing us all at the Club on this special day.
Censor/Honorary Auditor
John Greenwood has performed this role in an honorary capacity for many years. John will be stepping back after the completion of the 2021 Accounts, with the thanks of many Management Committees and Members over the years. We are therefore seeking a new Censor/Honorary Auditor to replace him. The prime responsibility is to audit the Club’s Annual Accounts, prepared by Management according to UK Accounting Rules (UK GAAP) and to express an independent opinion to the Members as to their validity. The Censor also provides his/her advice to Management on control and governance issues as required. Therefore, if you: * Are familiar with UK Accounting and Auditing requirements, and … * … have some previous Audit experience and might be interested in taking on this role, please contact or .

The Club is investing heavily in the renovation of the clay courts, with courts 1 and 2 done this year, and courts 3 and 4 scheduled for next year. Courts 1 and 2 have been extensively renovated; as part of the renovation process, the different layers of materials that make up a clay court needs to settle for at least several months. During this time, clay courts are very fragile. It will be critical for anyone playing on clay courts to strictly apply and respect the court rules and to avoid making holes and marks that would damage them permanently. The Tennis Committee would like to take this opportunity to remind tennis players of the rules that apply when playing on clay courts:
